St. Martha’s Spanish Club
The purpose of Spanish Club is to provide the opportunity for members to speak Spanish and learn about the Spanish speaking world. The Spanish club is open to students in grades 5-8. The club will meet after school once a month for one hour. Our meetings will be held the second Friday of every month. Dues will be $10 per person per year. The dues will be used for the projects and snacks provided for the Spanish Club meetings.
Spanish Club will provide many opportunities for fun, language practice and cultural activities. The meetings will include watching Spanish –language movies, playing games in Spanish, learning to cook a few Mexican foods, and helping Student Council with some of its community service projects. We will also have a field trip at the end of the year. In order to participate in the field trip you must attend all of the meetings. We will be electing officers for the Spanish club.
